Graduation Party

Sweet daughter's high school graduation party was last weekend. It was a marvelous time! I am so blessed to have a wonderful sister and two amazing sister-in-law's that pretty much did ALL the work. Dear Hubby and I were able to visit and enjoy the day while they slaved away!

One of the hits was a sno-cone machine that we rented. It was a warm muggy day and the kids (old and young) really enjoyed the sno-cones. Dear Son (aka. ice man) manned the machine all day. It was so cute seeing the little kids all lined up waiting for their sno-cone while dear son served up the cool sweetness.

We had several from my side of the family trek out from Des Moines and almost all of dear Hubby's side made the trip from Maquoketa. It was really fun to host it at our house because a lot of the relatives had not visited us in the city of five seasons. Sweet daughter had a great turn out of friends from high school, all grades, freshman through seniors.

Two of my sweet nieces attended with their little cutie-pie kidlings. They each have babies on the way so it was fun to see them as expecting mom's too. Here is a picture of sweet daughter with her cousin's.

We are very proud of our daughter and enjoyed a really great day celebrating with family. Now, dear hubby and I need a nap!
