Changes in latitude

We

Sweet college girl joined me on a business trip to Orlando over her winter break from school.
It was so nice to have a companion while I traveled and considering my broken bones it was really helpful to have her join me.

The weather was chilly for Florida but that did not keep college girl out of the pool (it was heated).
I even sat in the hot tub for a bit.  It was so relaxing!

The number one must see was Harry Potter at the Universal Studios theme park.
The whole Harry a Potter area of the park was amazing!  Sweet daughter read the entire series 5 times and has it memorized.  She said they nailed it!

I wasn't able to go on the crazy roller coaster so college girl went by herself, front row!
We ate lunch at the 3 Broomsticks and tried the famous butter beer.

The rest of the theme park as just so/so.
I did enjoy the gardens and plants.

We spent a couple hours by the pool resting after the long day at the park.
The pool had an outdoor bar with a happy hour margarita so I enjoyed one while soaking up some rays and knitting.  It was chilly so no swimming.
The sun was shining and the palm trees were green so we did not mind the chill.
I bundled up with my color affection shawl.
We stayed at a Springhill Suite by Seaworld and loved our room.

It had Japanese style bathroom with separate room for shower and toilet.
We loved the pocket doors.  Sweet daughter explained that the Japense think it is gross to shower in the same room as the toilet.  Interesting, I did not know that.

The next day we were off to the magic kingdom
Another chilly day and I looked ridicules!
It is hard to not smile all the time at the Magic Kingdom
We went on all the old standbys and enjoyed it all!

The parades were fun!
After the day at the park we took the monorail to the Grand Floridian.

It was a beautiful hotel with a band playing.
This is on the bucket list!
Even the ceiling was a sight to see.

We had a great time and it was so nice to spend a couple days in the warmer climate with my daughter.
We had to catch at 7am flight the next day.
Lots of coffee in the airport!

Beautiful fun photos of you both and all the tourist stuff! I don't know how you got it all in and work in such a short time.
Good planning!!
